Agnes J. Busch, 86, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at her home. She was born February 23, 1918, in Wheatland Township, to Frank T. and Josephine P. (nee: Kaiser) Linneman. She spent her early life in Wheatland Township. On June 27, 1942, in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Walter Busch. He preceded her in death on October 6, 1979. Following marriage, she resided in Burlington, where she had been a resident since 1939. She attended school at St. Alphonsus Grade School. Agnes was a Homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington. She was also a member of Catholic Family Insurance, Funeral Lunch Chairperson for many years at St. Mary's, the Ministry of the sick, and former member of Christian Mother's Society. She was very active in the St. Mary's Fall Festival and the St. Mary's Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, crocheting, and her flowers. Survivors include her children, Geri (Chad) Chadwick of Burlington, Larry (Kathryn) Busch of Bossier City, La., David (Cynthia) Busch of Viola, and Daniel (Julie) Busch of Burlington; son-in-law, Patrick Golden of New York; grandchildren, Tim Busch, Kerry (James) Mason, Jessica (David) Bungard, Todd (Kathleen) Golden, Bridget (Daniel) Balogh, Matthew Golden, Cory Anderson, Jason, Aimee, and Amanda Erb, and Jacob Busch; great-grandchildren, Blayne, Shelby, Nathanyl, Brianna, Cassandra Joan, Henry, and Niall; brother, Philip Linneman of Burlington; sister, Margaret (Donald) Rasch of Twin Lakes; brother-in-law, Don Busch; and sister-in-law, Margaret Busch. She is also survived by special friends, Jean Heiligenthal and Ruth Heck, who helped her with her laundry and her trips to the doctor; Margaret Hobbick, who helped her with her shopping and her trips to the doctor; Ginny Boulden, who was always there when Agnes needed her; Helen Barnard, who took her to church and assisted with rides when needed; and Mary Cooper, who helped with vacuuming and cleaning. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Joan Golden; sisters-in-law, Clara (Ray) Brever, Lillian Riggs, and Isabelle Busch; and brothers-in-law, Raymond (Magdeline) Busch and Leland (Mary) Busch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington on Monday, February 14, 2005, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Thielen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Prayer Vigil. Memorials to St. Mary's Catholic Church have been suggested. The family of Agnes would like to give a special thank you to all the girls and neighbors that gave her a helping hand in need, especially to Sr. Mary Joyce.
