George J. Crowley, 78, Burlington, died Sunday (Aug. 31, 1986) at Memorial Hospital, Burlington.
The son of the late George and Elizabeth (Tenpenny) Crowley, he was born Nov. 16, 1907 in East Troy.
Living in the area all his life, he attended schools in East Troy and Waterford.
On April 22, 1933 he married Lucille Sobby at St. Mary Church, Burlington.
Until retirement, he was a machinist at Nestle's Can Co. and a TV repairman at Music Mart, both in Burlington.
He was a member of the Burlington Rifle Club, St. Mary Church and the Burlington Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, James and Paul, both of Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Patricia) Elverman, Burlington, and Mrs. Karl (Kathleen) Schultz, Oshkosh; one brother, John, Michigan City, Ind.; four sisters, Jean Healy, Cele Ketterhagen, Betty Miller and Jeanette Payne, all of Burlington; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a brother and a sister.

CROWLEY - Funeral services for the late George J. Crowley, a resident of Burlington, WI., who passed away Aug. 31st, will be held on Sept. 2nd (Today) at 7:30 P.M. at St. Mary's Church in Burlington, WI. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. at St. Mary's Chapel. The Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
