Age 58. Passed away on Tuesday, 27, 1982, at his residence. He was born in Burlington on May 18, 1924, to William and Lillian (Warren) Elderbrook. His early life was spent in Burlington and he was educated at Duckett School, St. Charles School, Burlington High School. He was married to the former Bernice Robbers at St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster, on May 29, 1948. Following their marriage they lived on a farm and he was in partnership with his brother, Frank, on Elderbrook Brothers Farm. Mr. Elderbrook was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, K.C., A.M.P.I., and was a retired Town of Burlington Fireman. Surviving are his wife, Bernice; four daughters and one son-in-law, Linda (Red) and Pat Smetana of Burlington, Kathy Neidle of Milwaukee, Peg Elderbrook of Milwaukee, Sue at home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Dan and Mary Elderbrook of Kenosha, and Dave Elderbrook at home; three grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Olive Elderbrook in Burlington; one sister, Helen Elderbrook of Burlington; brother-in-law, Cy Ketterhagen of Burlington. He was preceded death by his parents and one sister, Mary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Charles Church, Burlington, with Rev. R. Andre officiating. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the McCARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 101 E. State St., Burlington. Memorials to the St. Charles Renovation Fund have been suggested.
