Andrew M. Ketterhagen, 80, died Sunday, November 30, 2003, at Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
He was born March 22, 1923, in Burlington to Edward B. and Louise (nee: Daniels) Ketterhagen. He spent his early life in Burlington and had been a lifelong resident of the Burlington and Bassett area. On June 6, 1946, he was united in marriage to Eleanor Nienhaus at Holy Name Catholic Church in Wilmot. Eleanor preceded him in death September 20, 1979. Following marriage, they lived in Bassett.
He was educated at St. Charles Grade School. Andrew was a Dairy Farmer and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Twin Lakes. He was a lifetime member of the Twin Lakes Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing and following his grandchildren's baseball games.
Survivors include three daughters, Jane (Dr. Thomas) Richter of Onalaska, Peggy (Marty) Daniels of Burlington, and Ann (Scott) Iverson of New Munster; four sons, Dennis (Dawn), Robert (Chris), Mark (Barb), and Paul (Pam), all of Bassett; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marcella Fallon of Burlington and Viola Priese of Middleton; and two brothers, Edward 'Doc' (Madge) and John (Gwen), both of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and eight brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Twin Lakes on Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Michael Erwin officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Twin Lakes. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 until 7 p.m. with a Prayer Vigil at 6:15 p.m.
