Age 76. Passed away Nov. 30, 1970 in the Racine County Hospital. Mr. Dauben was born in the Town of Burlington on March 22, 1894, son of the late Matt and Mary Lansing Dauben. On May 1, 1918, he was married to Mary Richter, who preceded him in death on Sept. 16, 1933. On Oct. 7, 1939, in St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster, he was married to Leona Lohaus. Before retiring, he was a machinist press operator at Burlington Mills Inc. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, Leona; one son, Francis Dauben of Janesville, N.Y.; one daughter, Mrs. Brian (Barbara) Newbury of Burlington; three grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday, a.m. in St. Charles Catholic Church, Burlington, Rev. F. Jordan officiating. Interment will be in St. Charles cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call at the MC CARTHY RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 473 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington today (Wednesday) after 4 p.m.
