Henry Krift, 71, Dies Wednesday At Farm Home
Henry Krift, 71, well known in Burlington, died Wednesday at his home, on his farm on Highway 83, just outside the city.
Henry Krift was born Aug. 28, 1873, at New Munster. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krift. On Feb. 21, 1911, he was married to Anna Brick at Brighton. Mrs. Krift died March 4, 1919. Mr. Krift was in the sand and gravel business for many years. He was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Charles' church and a member the Catholic Order of Foresters at New Munster.
Surviving his death are a daughter; Mrs. Herbert Deuhring, Burlington, and a granddaughter; Mary Ann Deuhring. He also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Busch, Milwaukee, Mrs. Henry Sherman, Wheatland, and a brother, William Krift, of Wheatland.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a. m. Monday in St. Charles' Catholic church. Rev. Charles Myers, pastor, will officiate. Burial will in the family lot in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call at the Krift home.
