Verna Richter

 

Mrs. Frank (Verna) Richter, 84, 749 Crestwood Drive, Burlington, died Saturday afternoon at Burlington Memorial Hospital. She was born March 15, 1895 in Salem, Wis., the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Katherine Overcamp) Epping.

She was educated at St. Alphonsus School, New Munster.

She married Frank T. Richter on Feb. 13, 1917 at St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster.

The couple lived on Route 3, Burlington, in Kenosha County for 57 years before moving to Burlington.

She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church of Burlington and of its St, Anne's Society, and of the Christian Mothers and Altar Society of St. Alphonsus.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Ray of Burlington: a daughter, Mrs. Don (Shirley) Meyer of Burlington; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, Edmund Epping of Salem.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, a brother and three sisters.

RICHTER-Funeral services for the late Mrs. Frank {Verna) Richter, 749 Crestwood Drive, Burlington, WI who passed away Saturday, September 15th, will be held on Tuesday September 18th at 8 P.M. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Burlington. Interment in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, New Munster, WI. at 10 A.M. Friends may call after 3 P.M. Tuesday at the McCarthy-Koening Funeral Home, 101 E. St. Street, Burlington, WI.
