Lunetta E. Weis, 78, Burlington, died Sunday (Sept. 6, 1992) at her home.
The daughter of Joseph and Laura (Richter) Daniels, she was born June 8, 1914, in Brighton.
She spent her early life in Brighton, and attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School and Burlington High School.
On June 29, 1940, she married Francis N. Weis at St. Francis Xavier Church, Brighton.
A charter member of the St. Charles School Board, she was named Farm Bureau Woman of the Year.
She was a member of St. Charles Church and a former vice president of the St. Ann's Society of the church.
Surviving are her husband; four sons, Daniel, Roger, Russell and Clayton, all of Burlington; two daughters, LuAnn Warren, Burlington, and Peggy Daniels, Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Doris Mich, Racine, Edna Reiter, Bristol, LaVerne Drissel, Kenosha, Loyola Wack, Kansasville: a brother, Everett Daniels, Brighton; and 20 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerome Weis, and a granddaughter, Nancy Weis.
The Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington, is in charge of arrangements.
WEIS-Funeral services for the late Lunetta E. Weis. of Burlington Wisconsin, who died September 6th, will be held on Tuesday September 8th at 7:30 P.M. at St. Charles Church, Burlington. Interment will be held at St. Charles Cemetery, Burlington, on Wednesday September 9th at 10:00 A.M. Friends may call Schuette Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington. Memorials may be sent to St. Charles Grade School and Hospice Alliance.
