Wendolyn Reiter, 81, 23318 60th St., a lifelong resident of the Town of Brighton, died Saturday (March 16, 1991) in St. Catherine's Hospital.
Born Feb. 20, 1910, in the Town of Brighton, he was the son of Peter and Anna (Hotz) Reiter.
He attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School in Brighton and Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha.
On Feb. 22, 1941, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Brighton, he married the former Edna Daniels.
A farmer for his entire adult life, he was a past officer of the American Milk Producers, Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service, the Farm Bureau and other farm organizations. He also served for 35 years as treasurer of the Town of Brighton and for many years was treasurer for the Kenosha County Mutual Insurance Co. He was also a member of the Westosha Kiwanis Club.
A member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brighton, he was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters since 1928.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Leroy, Brighton; four daughters, Donna Cordes, Turtle Lake, Diane Durkin, Brighton, Elaine Reiter, Kiel, and Darlene Reiter, Powers Lake; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Francis, two sisters, Louise Seitz and Lenore Hahn, and a grandson.
Arrangements are being handled by the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington.
