Edward P. Wack, 59, Salem, died Friday (June 22, 1984) at the Milwaukee County Medical Complex.
The son of the late John and Regina (Meier) Wack, he was born on Oct. 26, 1924 in Harvey, N.D. He came to Brighton Township in 1946.
He married Loyola Daniels on June 26, 1946 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Brighton.
He was a member of of St. Francis Xavier Church, its men's club and the Catholic Order of Foresters, Brighton Court and was its youth director. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a laborer and tube fitter at Arco Metals since 1946, a member of Steelworkers Local 9323 and was the Town of Brighton recreation director.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Craig, Camp Lake, and Marty, Salem; three daughters, Karen and Mrs. Bruce (Linda) Feldkamp, both of Silver Lake, and Darla, Milwaukee; four brothers. Leo, Raymond, Gerald and Robert. all of Portland, Ore.; four sisters, Martha French, Lucille McFallo, Josaphine Conklin and Geraldine Vand De Wege, all of Portland; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn and Marion, and a granddaughter. Tracey Feldkamp.
WACK-Funeral services for the late Edward P. Wack, Rt. 2, Box 280, Salem, Brighton Township, will be held on Monday, June 25th at 11 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church in Brighton. Rev. Laurence Waleske officiating. Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Brighton. Friends may call at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 157 S. Pine Street in Burlington today from 4-9 P.M. Parish prayer vigil will be Sunday evening at 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Memorials to the St. Francis Xavier Athletic Fund will be appreciated.
