Joe C. Kaskie, 57, of 2504 S. Western Ave., died Saturday in McKennan Hospital.
Mr. Kaskie was born April 18, 1930, in Montrose. In 1952 he moved to Sioux Falls from Mitchell. He married Joanne Kelley May 23, 1950, in Salem. He worked for John Morrell Roustabout Crew, retiring after 35 years.
He was a past member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; three sons: Steven and Michael, both of Omaha, Neb.; and Richard, Sioux Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Jo) Kuemper, Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren; and three sisters: Mrs. Keith (Marge) Kersey, Sioux Falls; Sister Mary Ellen Kaskie, Aberdeen; and Alice Palmer, Sacramento, Calif.
Funeral Mass will begin at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
A parish scripture service will begin at 7 tonight in Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home.
