Jerome Gerald Kaskie, 41, died Thursday at his residence.
He was born Nov. 6, 1939, and had lived in Reno for nine years.
Kaskie was an insurance claims adjuster.
He was a member Of the Manogue Boosters, Babe Ruth Baseball, American Little League, a past president of the Reno Claims Association, past coach of C.Y.O. basketball, and a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church.
Surviving are his widow, Sylvia, sons, Brian and Robert, and daughters, Lisa and Christina Kaskie, all of Reno; mother, Mary Ellen Kaskie of Mitchell, S.D.; brother, Joseph and a sister, Margaret Kersey, both of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and sisters, Alyce Palmer of Sacramento and Sister Mary Ellen of Miles City, Mont.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Walton Funeral Home, Reno.
Recitation of the rosary is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Inurnment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
