Darlene Calligan, 62, of Baltimore, Md., formerly of Readlyn, died at home Sunday, July 16, of cancer; survivors include her husband, Richard A. Sr.; three sons, Richard Jr., of Sycamore, Ill., and Kevin and Kelly, both of Baltimore; two daughters, Pati Johnson of Frederick, Md., and Christine Grohs of Baltimore; and a brother, Herbert Diercks of Texas; she was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Marion Matthias and Beata Abbs; and a brother, Evan Schmidt; private memorial services were Tuesday at Hope Lutheran Church, Baltimore.
