Regina Burns a long time resident of Heartland Country Village passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, with her son by her side. She was born on March 25, 1949, to Robert and Sophie Lenz. She married Eugene Burns on Feb. 24, 1984, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

She is survived by her son, Joshua of Mazomanie; brother, Lenny (Roxanne) Lenz of Tennessee; mother-in-law, Mildred Burns of Fitchburg; sisters-in-law, Anne Lenz of Salem, Ellen Casey of Fitchburg, and Jan (Virgil) Ruhland; and brother-in-law, Jack Burns of Mazomanie and Sophie. Her father-in-law,Lloyd Burns preceded her in death.

A Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2008, at St Alphonus Church, New Munster, Wis.. Special thanks to Heartland Country Village, Dr. Ahrens and the UW Dialysis Center for all their special care and support.
