Mrs. Laura K. Daniels, 85, Rt. 2 Salem, died Saturday in Racine following a sudden illness.
Born Feb. 20, 1890 in Kenosha County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Richter. She was a lifelong Kenosha County resident.
On June 18, 1913, she married Joseph Daniels in Brighton. He died on April 8, 1938.
Mrs. Daniels was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Brighton, the Catholic Order of Foresters. St. Aloysious Court. Brighton; St. Francis Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Francis (Lunetta) Weis, Rt. 3 Burlington, Mrs. Harry (Doris) Mich, Racine; Mrs. Wendolyn (Edna) Reiter, Bristol; Mrs. Jerome (LeVerne) Drissel, Rt. 3. Kenosha; and Mrs. Edward (Loyola) Wack. Rt. 2 Salem; a son, Everett, Rt. 2 Salem; 33 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank and Elmer Richter, both of Burlington; five sisters, Mrs. Jacob (Alice) Robers and Mrs. Stan (Irene) Kelly, both of Burlington; and Mrs. Leo (Florence) Robers, Mrs. Sylvestera (Leona) Epping, Mrs. Clarence (Celeste) Fonk, all of Kenosha.
Mrs. Daniels was also preceded in death by two brothers, William and Adolph.
DANIELS-Funeral services for the late Mrs. Laura K. Daniels of Route 2, Salem, Wis. who passed away November 8th, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11th, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Brighton. Interment St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation Monday (today) after 4:00 P.M. at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 157 South Pine, Burlington, Wis. Parish prayer vigil Monday (tonight) at 8:00 P.M.
