Mae Keegan, 90, formerly of Rock Valley, died October 27 at a Sioux Falls, S.D., hospital of sudden illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. October 30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Valley. The Rev. William Wingert officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.

Miss Keegan was born, Jan. 3. 1892, in Rock Valley. She attended one year of college in Cedar Falls, and taught in the rural schools in the Rock Valley area for 30 years. She lived on the family farm until she moved to Sioux Falls in 1974.

Miss Keegan was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth H. Keegan of Sioux Falls, and Eleanor Keegan of Santa Monica, Calif., and many nieces and nephews.
