Funeral services were held for William J. Keegan, 55, on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. Father David McGoey officiated. Vander Ploegs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.

Pallbearers were Paul Barry, Mike Cullinan, Vincent Crowley, Boniface Hevern, Stanley McKeegan and Robert Thayer.

William J. Keegan was born Feb. 23, 1899 to Michael and Margaret Keegan. He lived all his life near Rock Valley, where he farmed except for the time he served in the U. S. Navy.

He was a member of the American Legion and of St. Mary's Catholic church in Rock Valley.

Mr. Keegan died at his farm home on Dec. 10 after several weeks of illness.

Surviving are his four brothers and three sisters, Raymond, Mae and Elizabeth at home, Eleanor of Riverside, Calif., John of Doon, Francis of Sioux Falls and Leo of Martin, S.D.
