Leo Joseph Keegan
MARTIN

Leo Joseph Keegan, a rancher in Bennett County for the last 40 years, died Friday in Bennett County Memorial Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. James Danahoe. Christian wake services are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the church. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Ziegler Funeral Home until the service time.

Keegan was born May 1, 1906, at Rock Valley, Iowa.

Surviving are his widow, Marian, Martin; one son, Kenneth, Martin; three daughters, Delores Urban, Denver, Colo.; Jean Batt, Longmont, Colo. and Betty Paxson, Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Elizabeth and Mary, both of Rock Valley, and Eleanore, Santa Monica, Calif., 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers William, Raymond, Francis and John.
