Arlene M. Meyer

 

Arlene M. Meyer, 75, 21818 Ninth St., No. 18, Brighton, died Sunday (April 7, 1996) at Black River Falls.

Born April 1, 1921, in Wheatland, she was the daughter of the late Werner and Mary (Capello) Luke.

She spent her early life in Wheatland and graduated from Burlington High School in 1939.

On Nov. 8, 1941, she married Lawrence Meyer at St. Alphonsus Church in New Munster.

She was a retired employee of Quaker Industries and also worked at the Southern Wisconsin Center in Union Grove.

She attended St. Roberts Catholic Church in Union Grove and was an active member of the Westosha Senior Center in Bristol. She enjoyed crafts, traveling and reading.

Survivors include her husband; six sons, William, Fond du Lac, David, Madison, Roger, Kenosha, Gregory, Alden, Ill., and Richard and Joseph, both of Bristol; five daughters, Betty Houtz, Somers, Jeanne Capello, Norfolk, Va., Karen Poloskov, Rancho Cucumonga, Calif., Myra Kitterman, Bristol, and Rita Kiteley, Frisco. Colo.; a brother, Roman Luke, Washington; three sisters, Rose Kerkman, town of Dover, Kathleen McCarthy, Burlington, and Joyce Gallaher, Burbank, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


MEYER - Services for the late Arlene M. Meyer, Kansasville, formerly of Bristol, WI, who passed away on Sunday, April 7th, 1996, will be held on Friday, April 12th at 10:30 A.M. at St. Robert Catholic Church in Union Grove, WI. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Brighton. Friends may call on Thursday, April 11th from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home, Union Grove. Memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
