Littleton, July 23
Nick Knoll was found dead in bed Saturday morning at the home of George Trebon, north of Littleton, where he was employed. He and his brother had worked hard the previous day shocking oats, but so far as was known he was in his usual health when he retired Friday night. His brother, who slept with him, rose in morning supposing Nick would soon be up also, but when he failed to appear investigation proved that he had passed away during the night. He was over thirty years of age and leaves a widowed mother, four brothers, and two sisters, besides many more distant relatives. Coronor Swan was summoned from Independence but in his absence his son came and pronounced it a case of heart failure. Funeral services will be held Tuesday with burial in the Fairbank cemetery where his father is buried.
