Wednesday morning at an early hour the sad news of the sudden death of George E. Knoll was received here by his mother Mrs. Knoll and brothers. Mr. Knoll was working with the J. B. EJliott local bridge contractors whose force of men has been doing bridge work in the vicinity of Brandon and had arose at about five o'clock in the morning as usual and gone out of doors and was found dead a short time afterwards. He was unmarried, age 37 years. The course of his death was pronounced acute indigestion. The remains were brought to his home, here Thursday. He appeared to be in his usual good health up to the time of his death. He had always made his home in and near Fairbank and was popular with everyone and was a young man of good habits and a general disposition that won him many friends. He was a soldier of the World War, a member of Adolph Fortsch Post. The funeral services were held from the Immaculate Conception church Friday morning at 9 o'clock. The Legion had charge of the burial services.
