STANLEY
Norma Ann Giwojna, 64, of 124 W. 4th Ave., Stanley, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 1994, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 16, 1929, in Eau Claire, the daughter of Louis and Gertrude (Trebon) Gettler.
She was raised in the Chippewa Falls area where she worked for many years at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
She was united in marriage to Edward Giwojna on Aug. 4, 1971, in Chippewa Falls. They had lived in Stanley since.
Survivors include her husband, Edward, of Stanley; one son, David Wylie of Chippewa Falls; two stepsons, Donald (Carol) and Edward Jr. (Butch) (DeeAnn), both of Stanley; three stepdaughters, Jackie (Jerome) Hoge of Aitkin, Minn., Barbara (Edward) Lane of Cadott, and Susan Ernst of Thorp; 15 stepgrandchildren, one great-stepgrandchild; two brothers, Louis (Mary) Gettler and Bernard (Diane) Gettler, both of Chippewa Falls; six sisters, Dorothy Figlmiller, Marie (Al) Krause, Yvonne (Eugene) Doucette, all of Chippewa Falls, Delores (Frances) Seyforth of Mesa, Ariz., Darlene Borton of Eau Claire, and Carole (Bob) Marsolek of Rochester, Minn.
Str was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Joyce Marie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Plombon Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeremiah Cashman officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
