Dolores (Gettler) Collins, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 1, 2011, at Hospice of the Valley Arbor Homes, Mesa.
Dolores was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Chippewa Falls.
She was a woman of great faith who accomplished many of her dreams. She was adventuresome, ambitious, creative and had a great business sense. She loved crafts, gardening, flowers, animals, and nature walks in her beloved Arizona desert.
Dolores was a woman of deep conviction and was passionate about God and family. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
She is survived by: her soul mate and husband, Bob Collins of Mesa; son, Robert (Karie) Anderson; daughters, Rose (Lee) Simanek, Julie (Donald) Lawrence, Pam (Dennis) Hehl; stepdaughters, Sharon (Alan) Grosshans, Kendall (Robert) Kelly; grandchildren, Josh (Laura) Pederson, Jennah (Viju) Thomas, Lindsey (Jake) Friberg, Joe Anderson; stepgrandchildren, Andrew and Bryan Grosshans, Sean and Courtney Kelly; two great-grandchildren, Vivyannah Thomas and Max Friberg; former son-in-law Ralph Pederson; and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda; parents, Louis and Gertrude Gettler; and several beloved brothers and sisters, Joseph, Joyce, Dorothy, Norma, Marie, Yvonne and Bernard.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206 at 10 a.m. Nov. 10. Reception will follow. A memorial service will held in Chippewa Falls at a later date.

Additional survivors include her beloved brother, Louis (Mary) Gettler and beloved sisters, Darlene Borton and Carol (Bob) Marsolek.
