BARBIAN, MRS. MARY CATHERINE
Burlington, Wis.

Age 84 passed away May 25 in Janesville, Wis. Mrs. Barbian was born in Burlington on Feb. 4, 1871, daughter of the late Frank and Anna Althoff. She spent her early life in Kenosha County and graduated from St. Mary's High School, Burlington. In New Munster, Wis., on Sept. 24, 1894, she was married to Nick Barbian, who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster, and St. Mary's Church, Burlington.

Surviving are five sons, Frank of Burlington, John of Troy Center, Ray of Winthrop, La., Leo of Salem and Harry Barbian of Burlington, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Lenz of Salem, Wis. and Mrs. Florence Wilson of Burlington; 27 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; one brother, Joe Althoff of Kenosha; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Kersting of Burlington.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9 a. m., in St. Mary's Church, Burlington, Msgr. Joseph Heim officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the MC CARTHY RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 681 Geneva St., Burlington, Friday afternoon after 2 o'clock, and until service time.
