Francis C. Scholbrock, 74, of North Hollywood, Calif., formerly of Dubuque and Hazel Green, Wis., died after a brief illness Sunday, July 12, 1998.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at North Hollywood Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mr. Scholbrock worked for Eldon Miller, H & W Motor Express and retired from Inland Molasses.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1923, in Festina, Iowa, son of William and Regina Scholbrock. He married Lenice Calvert on Oct. 11, 1943, in Fennimore.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 421.
Surviving are his wife, Lenice, of North Hollywood; his children, R. Stephen (Lynn), of Cuba City, Wis., Gary (Cheryl), of Belvidere, Ill., Susan (Dan) Nelson, of Redding, Calif., and Jill (Todd) Davis, of Woodland Hills, Calif.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Dorothy) Scholbrock, of Festina, and Ronald (Corina) Scholbrock, of Hazel Green; three sisters, Martha (Edward) Bedward, of Woodman, Wis., Irma (Charles) Rosauer, of Blue River, Wis., and Mary (Irwin) Reed, of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; and 21 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Regina Scholbrock; a brother, Ralph; a sister, Clara Mae Hageman; and two grandchildren and a nephew.
