Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Scholbrock mourn the loss of their son Ralph, aged 2 years, who passed away at the hospital in Iowa City Thursday, following an operation. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers Francis and John and two sisters Clarmae and Martha.
Funeral services were held in St. Mary's church Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Rev. A. J. Rubly officiated. Remains were laid to rest in St. Mary's cemetery. Five little cousins acted as pallbearers: Walter Scholbrock, Raymond Baumler, Herbert Scholbrock, Donald Kipp, Marcellus Tillman was crossbearer.
The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community.
Relatives out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tillman, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Scholbrock, and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Leibold of Lawler, Mr. and Mrs. Clem Scholbrock and Albert Scholbrock of Ossian, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Reicks of Cresco, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Baumler and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ditzenbach of St. Lucas.
