Catherine Healey, 85, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died Nov. 4, 2002 at Wm. Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Mitchell, South Dakota.
Mrs. Healey graduated from Northwestern University. She was a volunteer nurse's aide during World War II. She was a retired vice president of her late husband's business, W.E. Healey and Associates (Engineered Fire Protection). She was an active member of St. Hugo of the Hills Church in Bloomfield Hills; member, golfer and historian of Oakland Hills Country Club; member of the Women's District Gold Association; oil painting artist and member of the Birmingham-Bloomfield Art Center. She enjoyed bridge, gardening and travel.
She was survived by children, William Douglas and Margaret M. "Peggy" (Daniel) Keehner; grandchildren, Philip M. and Brian W.; brother, Dr. Harold A.(Betty) Streit; and loving friend, Merton J. Bell.
