Mrs. Charles (Lillian) Riggs, 52, Rt. 2, Salem, died Saturday at her home following a sudden illness.
Born in the Town of Brighton July 24, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Busch. She spent her early life in Brighton and attended school there.
On July 1, 1950, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Brighton, she married Charles Riggs.
Mrs. Riggs was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, the Christian Mothers and the Altar Society.
Besides her husband, survivors include a son, Donald, Rt. 2, Salem; and three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Elaine) Burke, Burlington, Wis.; and Carolyn and Mary, both of Rt. 2, Salem; and her mother, Mrs. Mary Busch, Burlington.
Other survivors are five brothers, Walter, Lee, Raymond and Donald, all of Burlington; and Victor, Bristol; and a sister, Mrs. Ray (Clara) Brever, Kenosha.
RIGGS—Funeral services for the late Mrs. Charles Riggs of Rt. 2, Salem, WI, who passed away Feb. 15th, will be held Tuesday, February 18th at 11 A.M. from St. Francis Church, Brighton, WI., Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 P.M. Monday at the McCarthy and Koenig Funeral Home, 473 Milwaukee Avenue, Burlington, WI. Rosary 8 P.M. Monday evening.
