Rosemary Roanhaus, age 96, passed away August 18, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Cornell. She was born in Burlington on March 7, 1920 to John and Clara (Richter) Tenhagen. On May 19, 1945 she married Arthur Roanhaus who preceded her in death.

She was employed by Burlington Consumers Coop as a bookkeeper for 40 years. She is a member of St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church in Burlington.

Surviving her are one brother, Raymond (Gloria) Tenhagen, Burlington, one daughter, Mary (Daniel) Webster of Cornell, one granddaughter, Jeanne (Allen) Melville, of Birnamwood, one great grandson, Nathaniel (Christine) and a great-great- granddaughter, Emalee Melville, of Wausau. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert and two sisters, Lucille and Katherine, one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home.
