Bernard P. Kotz, 68, Tipton, died Sunday morning at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3:30 to 9 p.m. today at St. Mary's Church, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today.

Sheets and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born in Bridgewater, S.D. He married Mildred L. Garrison in 1930 in Presho, S.D. The couple moved to Tipton in 1945. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (JoAnn) Hensch, Nevada, Iowa; a son, Norman, Bennett; nine grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Fred (Celia) Bechthold, Belgrade, Minnn.; Mrs. Margaret Thompson, Davenport; Mrs. Ralph (Frances) Regennitter, Vivian. S.D., and Sister Mary Austin, Madison, S.D., and brothers, Joseph, Belgrade; Aloysious, Prophetstown, and Roy, Presho.
