Roy Vincent Kotz, 64, died Saturday in a Rapid City hospital.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church by the Rev. William Lambert. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hofmeister Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery near Presho.

Kotz was born Aug. 15, 1914, in Lyman County the son of Henry and Catherine Kotz. He was a lifelong resident of Lyman County.

He married Marie Reginnetter May 29, 1944, in Vivian.

Kotz served on the Walker School and Liberty Township boards and was a member of the Lyman County Wildlife Club and Christ the King Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Marie, Presho; two daughters, Mary Kotz, Presho, and Lois Kotz, Rapid City; a son, Dennis, Charles City, Iowa; two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Bechtold, Belgrade, Minn., Mrs. Tommy Thompson, Minneapolis, Mrs. Frances Reginnetter, Vivian, and Sister Austin Kotz, Madison; and, two brothers, Al Kotz, Prophetstown, Ill., and Joseph Kotz, Belgrade.
